A book composed of selected works by German photographer Helmut Newton, taken for magazines such as Vogue between the mid-1960s and the early 1980s. His photographs have a dramatic, lingering quality that is rarely seen in fashion advertising today. One of Newton’s great appeals lies in this dangerous balance — images that are bold and provocative, yet somehow retain a sense of elegance at the very edge. Around this time, I began gradually collecting Helmut Newton’s photobooks. I no longer remember exactly where I found this copy, but as it is a rare first edition, I believe I may have purchased it from Zbooks.(https://zbooks.zsalon.jp/) 187 pages / 25 × 33 × 2.5 cm / Hardcover
